Our design focused on creating a welcoming entrance from the street, simplifying winter navigation, and maximizing outdoor enjoyment during the summer months, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
About the Project
A comprehensive exteriorscaping and landscaping project designed to enhance the historic charm of a Boston area home, featuring meticulous granite ledge excavation, the creation of an outdoor kitchen, installation of custom porches, steps, and walkways, selective tree removal, and a fully integrated landscaping and irrigation system.
This project balanced modern functionality with the preservation of the home’s timeless character, transforming the outdoor space into an elegant and practical extension of the property.
Site Condition
Boston winters mean serious snow, and even as a Buffalo native, I can confirm—this is next-level! To ensure safe, easy access, we designed and excavated this steep driveway and walkways with winter in mind, making sure the home stays accessible even when buried under six feet of snow.
